Intensive general French course - Alliance Française Bordeaux

Course objective

Learn to speak, write, and understand French in everyday situations.

Are you just starting to learn French or would you like to improve your level?
Our intensive French course in Bordeaux is designed to help you progress quickly in a dynamic and friendly atmosphere.

Course structure

Taught by experienced teachers, the course follows the recommendations of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

With a focus on active and practical learning, each session includes:

Observation of real-life communication situations
The study of linguistic tools (vocabulary, grammar, phonetics, etc.)
Interactive and intercultural exchanges
A variety of activities (debates, games, cultural outings, etc.)

Each week also includes a written or oral assignment followed by personalized feedback to consolidate what has been learned and identify areas for improvement for each student.

This course covers all fundamental language skills:

📖 Reading comprehension (reading a variety of texts)

📝 Written expression (syntax, style, accuracy)

👂 Listening comprehension (listening to authentic documents)

🎤 Oral expression (pronunciation, fluency, eloquence)

💡 Cross-disciplinary skills (vocabulary, conjugation, grammar, etc.)

Educational tools and digital platform

The use of innovative and technological educational materials provides a modern and dynamic learning experience.

In addition, access to the APOLEARN digital learning platform allows you to access course summaries and additional activities, and to interact with both your teacher and your classmates.

You can join this course every Monday for one week minimum.
Each class consists of 10 to 16 students maximum.
A placement test is sent after registration to determine your class.
The course textbook is not provided: it must be purchased in a bookstore (Mollat in Bordeaux) or online (Inspire or Edito depending on the level) after the first class.
Combined with a TCF IRN or TCF Tout Public exam, this course is eligible for funding under the Compte Personnel de Formation (CPF) program.

Do you need a visa to join us?

Consult the Assistant Visa to find out if a visa is required in your situation.

A minimum enrollment of 3 months is required to obtain a student visa.
Once you have registered, you will receive a registration certificate to submit your application.
In case of refusal, you will be refunded in full, except for the €60 registration fee.
