DELF – DALF

DELF and DALF are official diplomas issued by the French Ministry of Education to certify competence in the French language. They are valid for an unlimited period of time. There are 6 levels, from A1 (elementary) to C2 (advanced).

• Joining a French university or Grande École.
• Finding a job.
• Certify competence in French for a residence permit in France or an application for access to French nationality.

• Foreign candidates.
• French nationals from a non-French-speaking country who do not hold a French public secondary or higher education diploma.
• Possible test arrangements: candidates with special needs (third time...) must inform us two months before the date of the test, with a medical certificate attesting to their disability and with recommendations for arrangements recommended by the doctor in the context of school tests in modern languages. This certificate and its translation (if it is in a foreign language) must be sent to us by post or by e-mail (inscription@alliance-bordeaux.org).
