Culture

Because learning French also means discovering French culture, each month we offer you the opportunity to take part in various cultural, tourist and sporting activities to discover Bordeaux and the local culture. Essential for a complete immersion !

  • All our activities are provided or accompanied by a French-speaking facilitator.
  • The activities are reserved for students following our French courses.
  • Registration required at the cultural service of the Alliance Française.

Trip to the
Arcachon Bay

Saturday, April 18
9:30 am – 7:00 pm

Climb to the top of the famous Dune du Pilat, then enjoy an oyster tasting at the port of Larros, before discovering the town and beach of Arcachon.

Cheese tasting

Tue. 21 & Wed. 22 of April
3:00 – 5:00 pm.

Enjoy a tasting of several French cheeses and different glasses of wine, with explanations from the cheesemaker about the origins of the cheeses being tasted.

CAPC Museum

Come and explore the world of contemporary art and discover the exhibition Jardin des neufs soleils by Trevor Yeung during a guided tour of the CAPC.
