FRENCH AND SURF IN BIARRITZ

The Alliance Française offers sessions to learn French and surfing (2 weeks minimum) in partnership with Biarritz SurfTraining.

In the heart of the Basque Country, in an natural ad protected aera, enjoy a study and sporting programme in a town that lives and breathes “surf spirit". 
Stays in Biarritz take place between July 5th and August 27th for a duration of 2 weeks minimum and for young foreigners from 16 years old.

PROGRAMME :

          -French courses : Monday to Friday (15h/week) 
          -timetable : 9am to 12am at the Maison des Associations of Biarritz.
         -description : amusing linguistic activities (French with cartoons, literature for the young, cinema, theatre).

                

         -sport and cultural activities  : 4 sessions of surfing and a cultural visit per week.
The surf lessons are 1:30, supervised by qualified surf instructors’ state. (Hours vary depending on tide times and weather conditions.). The lessons take place at Marbella Beach or Côte des Basques Beach in Biarritz. Equipment is provided (wetsuits, surfboards).

A cultural visit  is organised once a week  (guided visit of the town, visit to Musuem of the sea , of the chocolate,...).

ACCOMMODATION :  Full board in hosting family

DATES : JULY  : from 03/07 to 16/07 or from 17/07 to 30/07
              AUGUST : from 31/07 to 13/08 or from 14/08 to 27/08
        

Tariff and conditions

 -Tariffs : 1400 €/2 weeks
                2600 €/4 weeks

-From 16 years old
-Parental consent for minors is complusory
-Insurances required  : civil responsability, repatriation and illness
-Certificates : medical certificate  required for surfing  and swimming.
