Culture

Included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2007, Bordeaux is a city of French lifestyle, tradition, history and where an intense cultural and artistic life is growing. To live and study, Bordeaux is a great city from the Altantic arc.

Wine World capital, the town and its region are also have a strong reputation for developing future technologies and industries (aerospace, lasers, health, agronomy,…)

Less than an hour from the Atlantic Ocean, and gateway to the largest pine forest in Europe of Les Landes, a few hours from the Pyrenees mountains and the Dordogne (Prehistorical caves, castles dating from the Renaissance), Bordeaux offers a wide range of activities related to an exceptional natural environment.

Each month, a cultural, tourist and sports program

At the AF, we provide a cultural, tourist and sports program each month. Excursions
to the Bassin d’Arcachon (Dune of Pyla), Lacanau (surfing center) and to the prestigious
vineyards
(Médoc, , Saint Emilion, Sauternes, graves,…) are organised.
According to the program, you will be able to go to shows (theatre, concerts…) or discover the
secrets of local gastronomy and oenology, by cooking and tasting wines from Bordeaux classes.
Without forgetting the famous wine festival which takes place in June !
