Test de connaissance du français (TCF)

The CDR version was made in order to comply with the new provisions of access to a long stay Resident Card. The A2 level is required.     

Why take the TCF CDR ?

  • To prove your level in French in the context of the request to obtain a long stay resident card. (valid for 10 years)

Who can take the TCF CDR ?

  • Open to people less than 65 years old who ask for the first time a long stay resident car.

How to prepare for the test ?

  • The website CIEP offers advices and websites.

Dispensation cases :

  • People over 65 years old
  • People who hold a DELF (A2, B1, B2), a DALF (C1, C2) or a A2 level in another version of the TCF which contains listening, reading, speaking and writing skills
  • People who hold a french university diploma
  • People who hold a V bis level diploma (Brevet, CAP, etc.)
  • People who hold a french professional certification

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.30 am to 7.00 pm.
